1. Have a long-term perspective in life
Bernard Arno once revealed how he visited China for the first time in 1991 and decided to open his first Louis Vuitton store there while the country’s GDP was very low.
A few decades later, Louis Vuitton became the top luxury brand there and in the world. He said about China:
“I remember the first time I visited China, I didn’t see any cars or tall buildings.”
2. Don’t obsess about money, just do the right thing
He always tells his team: “Money is just a result.” Don’t worry too much about profitability. If you do your job well, you will be profitable.”

Instead of focusing on profit, Arno believes that one should communicate with the company and its employees and be aware of what is happening between the members of the organization.
